Roger B. King, Q.C.

Profile

Roger has been a partner with the firm since 1985 and received his Queen's Counsel designation in 1992. Roger is actively involved in the area of construction related matters including development law; residential and condominium law; builder lien issues, property assessment work, construction litigation and the negotiation and drafting of complex development and construction contracts. He has also been successful in complex commercial and shareholder rights litigation. Roger also acts for a number of companies both private and public with respect to acquisitions (asset and share), corporate governance, strategic planning, employment matters and shareholders rights. Roger has also served as a referral prosecutor for the Manitoba Human Rights Commission, counsel for the City of Winnipeg Board of Revision and has appeared in all levels of courts including the Supreme Court of Canada as well as before various boards and tribunals and is a proponent of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
