Joey joined the firm in September, 2001. He is a graduate of the University of Winnipeg's Faculty of Arts (Political Science) and the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Law. After several years of private practice, Joseph joined the Great-West Life Assurance Company, serving as Assistant Counsel with the Litigation Department. There for five and half years, he was responsible for the management and supervision of the Canadian operations of the Great-West Life litigation unit. He obtained his call to the bar in Ontario in 1995. Joey returned to private practice in 1999. He has extensive experience in all aspects of general civil litigation, including estate litigation and general insurance defence litigation, with an emphasis on life and disability defence insurance litigation. Joey's preferred areas of practice are Insurance Litigation, General Civil Litigation and Estate Litigation.
