Roger has been a partner with the firm since 1985 and received his Queen's Counsel designation in 1992. Roger is actively involved in the area of construction related matters including development law; residential and condominium law; builder lien issues, property assessment work and construction litigation. He has also been successful in complex commercial and shareholder rights litigation.
Roger also acts for a number of companies both private and public with respect to acquisitions (asset and share), corporate governance, strategic planning, employment matters and shareholders rights.
Roger has also served as a referral prosecutor for the Manitoba Human Rights Commission, counsel for the City of Winnipeg Board of Revision and has appeared in all levels of courts including the Supreme Court of Canada as well as before various boards and tribunals and is a proponent of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
Roger has long been a believer in community service and has served as President of the Boards of the Winnipeg Convention Centre, Manitoba Museum and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra.
